40 Stunning Examples of Bokeh Female Portrait Photography FROM SMOKINGDESGNERS

In photography, bokeh (pronounced /boʊˈkeɪ/) is the blur, or the aesthetic quality of the blur, in out-of-focus areas of an image, or “the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light.”  The term comes from the Japanese word boke, which means “blur” or “haze”, or boke-aji, the “blur quality”. Bokeh is often most visible around small background highlights, such as specular reflections and light sources, which is why it is often associated with such areas. Bokeh describes the appearance, or “feel,” of out-of-focus areas. Bokeh is not how far something is out-of-focus, bokeh is the character of whatever blur is there. Here we have an excellent collection of Bokeh Inspired Female Portrait Photography from DeviantART.
