Chocolate Editions by Mary & Matt is a celebration of the candy bar as a perfect pop object. Launched in their home kitchen as gifts for friends and family, it quickly grew into a full line that draws its inspiration from an eclectic array of favorites — rugby shirts, works by Sol LeWitt and David Hockney, and Neapolitan ice cream have all been re-imagined as deliciously artful candies.
In order to better utilize the space in her small Brooklyn loft, architect Terri Chiao built these small houses to create a separate bedroom and dining room/treehouse. A cool idea and brilliant execution.
Taking over 2 years to complete the laborious process, photographers Aneta Grzeszykowska and Jan Smaga shot people in their homes from above, meticulously piecing together the photographs to form detailed floorplans of each.
